While still working at the bank, I was asked to produce films on living Mexican master artists. Three became friends and reintroduced me to the art of Mexico. Jose Luis Cuevas was the first one I met. He was a fellow Pisces with international acclaim. These new friends were not just artists like many I knew. Instead, they were great men who had many books written about them.
