Stonelight Tile kept inviting me to play with their product. Finally the courage came followed by countless visits to the factory in order to observe tile making. A few single tile paintings resulted. Dr. Earl Herald, host for a syndicated TV science program and director of Steinhart Aquarium, shelved my tile painting by asking me to do a stone mural for the aquarium (which had opened the year I was born a Pisces). It took months of experimentation and for procuring stone from various countries. Four murals resulted as well as twelve floor plaques. During this time I was at ease but my creativity upset the neatness of the home, thus creating friction.
